Some of my all time favourite quotes are those which have appeared in Calvin and Hobbes. Bill Watterson's genius lies in the fact that he can bring home the point with such beauty in all the genuine sometime satiric humor minus all the grim prospect of consequence. One such line I shall quote here:
"It is going to be a grim day when the world is run by a generation that doesn't know anything but what is seen on tv".
